Photographer collaborations

Some images live for a week. Some images live for years and some images refuse to sit quietly in a portfolio.

We're looking for photographers who would like their work to travel.

Retoucher of the Year (ROTY) is building the world's first global retouching competition across 50+ countries, bringing together photographers, retouchers, creative directors, educators, studios and agencies from around the world.

We're currently curating the official image sets used in the competition. The selected images will be retouched, discussed, showcased, and revisited by thousands of creatives throughout the competition cycle.

Your image may end up in the hands of a retoucher in Brazil, inspire a finalist in Denmark, be analysed by a jury member in France, or appear in a winning portfolio in Japan.
Not bad for a photograph that could have stayed in a Dropbox folder.

Selected photographers and creative teams will receive full credit and visibility throughout the competition. When an image travels, the names behind it will travel too.
